Hi and welcome, I’m Katy – a Wedding Photographer covering North Yorkshire, County Durham and the North East. As you’ve made it this far, congratulations must be in order and you’re probably starting to do all the fun stuff that comes with planning a wedding, including finding a fabulous wedding photographer to capture your day **insert hair flick here.** If you are looking for a fun, relaxed wedding photographer, you’re in the right place! My style during a typical wedding day ranges from the natural and candid, to dramatic fine art imagery and I would describe my image style as cinematic and colourful.
I absolutely adore weddings and I’d love to hear about your plans for your big day! (seriously…I could talk about weddings for hours, but I promise not to bore you with that). I have always been a “people-watcher” and I just adore observing & capturing all that is going on – the laughter, the enjoyment, and the little tender moments… Uncle Dave asleep in the chair after a few too many whiskeys (yep…i’ll capture that too) and Aunty Rose ripping up the dance floor to the Kings of Leon.
I’ll also spend time photographing all the little details of your wedding, to add depth to the memories so you are left with the most thorough story of your wedding day. No two weddings are the same…i’ll be telling your story in an authentic way, one size does not fit all. Whether you are sticking to a traditional vibe or throwing all expectations out the window, I’ll plan your photography with you, so it perfectly fits the story and captures the emotion of your wedding.
I only accept a limited number of weddings each year so I’m able to guide you through the process. Giving you a personal service to ensure that I am available before, during and after your wedding.
